Research On Design Method Of Rural Public Space

Rural areas in China are in great transition period of urbanization construction at present.On one hand,uneven resources allocation in rural and urban areas as well as the emphasis of government on city development causes the great outflow of rural labor force as well as the appearance of aging phenomenon in rural areas.On the other hand,due to the inadequate understanding of rural resources,phenomenon of empty village appears as they do not know how to develop with rural characteristics.Firstly,this paper proposes research methods and content in this paper through reviewing related existing research results and on the basis of criticism and absorption.It starts from the investigation on Beizhuangbao Village,Huaian County,Zhangjiakou City in Hebei Province and deduces the reason for current status of village through analyzing its formation history;points out that under the big background of current aging empty village,the demand under rural state with unbalanced nutrition must be different from the demand of village for public space under original health mode and based on this to explore the essential demand for public space behind current social problems in rural areas.It has reached the conclusion that at present,rural public space usually introduces the urban public space design method directly in design process,which does not solve the main demands of users practically.Basic viewpoints have been proposed by taking this as the breakthrough point of the problem: the first problem faced by current rural public space is to solve the using demand of the aging population for public space in public activities.Two problems have been proposed accordingly: will the former public space meet the communication method of common people? What is the development direction for rural public space in the future? Based on the questions put forward and combining the detailed social investigation of Beizhuangbao Village in Huaian County as well as the design of public space of use subject,three corresponding design strategies have been proposed: Inheritance principle of architectural form and historical context;principle of accessibility and hierarchy;principle of property and symbiosis.Finally,make design feedback and policy modification for the public space of Beizhuangbao Village and then propose practical problems that may be existed in implementation process in the future.In general,the construction of current rural public activity center should pay attention to following points in the implementation process in the future: first,the government should provide necessary support at the preliminary construction stage;second,democratic participation in construction process.
