In today's “large engineering view” and the "Internet +" context,the traditional engineering education model and the ever-changing engineering entities and social needs of engineers is seriously out of line.The global scope of engineering education and thus set off a paradigm shift,a wave of exploration of new engineering education model.The reform of engineering education model in China is experiencing the transition from CDIO engineering education mode,CDIO localization exploration to independent innovation of engineering education mode.The eXtreme Learning Process Engineering Education Model(XLP Model)is an engineering education model put forward and practiced in China.The learning task of the composite task is compressed to short-term content,so that learners can complete the process of project from concept to display in a high-density task environment with the team member of different disciplines background,so that learners construct self-organized learning ecosystem,experience the real situation,break through their limits.The core of the project is the 4 Forces.The core of the process organization is the XLP 4 Satges,the integration of the latest technology,tools and background in the engineering system as the resource organization mode,the task-driven process of learning activities.This paper makes a theoretical study and interpretation of the XLP model,a case study of typical practice and a practical investigation,using the methods of document analysis,interdisciplinary research,case analysis,investigation and statistical analysis."What is the XLP model?","How XLP-based learning activities are conducted?",and "What is the effectiveness of the XLP learning experience?".In this paper,the typical XLP course of "4 days and 80 hours" is taken as the samples,and the theoretical framework and feasible operation scheme of XLP model are obtained through theoretical research and case study.This paper puts forward the collaborative experiential index system of engineering based on XLP model,and analysis XLP-based collaborative experience of engineering.It shows that XLP model can improve participants' adaptability to engineering community,abide by the rules and contract of community operation,and promote the migratory ability of the community to upgrade and evolve.
