The Research On Drainage Management In Urban Area Of Changde City

The rapid urbanization process in China has increased the difficulty of urban management.As urban infrastructure,Drainage system facilities have been subjected to great tests.In some cities,Waterlogging is common due to heavy rains.At the same time,on account of the social phenomenon of stealing sewage or throwing wa ste into the drainage pipe network wilfully,drainage system facilities are often blocked.This makes the current urban drainage management present more and more problems,so it is very necessary to study how to solve the current difficulties in urban dra inage management.By defining concepts such as urban drainage,drainage management,drainage notions in sponge cities,and the establishment of theoretical framework,research on drainage management of Changde City is carried out in this paper.On the basi s of extensive access to information and interviews with relevant personnel,this paper expounds the current situation of urban drainage in Changde City.at the same time,this paper introduces the government’s measures on the drainage management,which mainly focuses on the construction of sponge city.Through the construction of sponge city,the severity of drainage management problem is alleviated to a great extent.Combining with the characteristics of urban drainage in Changde City,this paper puts forward the existent problems of urban drainage in Changde City from four aspects,topography,planning,construction and operation 。After learning from the advanced experience of foreign drainageand,it proposes drainage management suggestions from three aspects,including planning,construction and ope ration.Specifically,it includes as follow : improving the quality of planning and design about drainage,strengthening the construction of drainage system,improving the degree of combination of storage and drainage along with the degree of intellectualization in sponge city,strengthening the construction of regulations,strengthening daily maintenance,establishing drainage data platform of GIS and waterlogging warning mechanism,strengthening emergency duty in flood season,advocating public participation in the protection of drainage system facilities and so on.In this paper,the drainage management in Changde area is taken as the research object,and the scientific experience of drainage management in this area is obtained as well.It not only provides technical support for solving the problems of drainage management in Changde City,but also provides some reference for drainage management in other areas.
