Research On The Form Of Staircase In Contemporary Cultural Architecture

Staircase,the indispensable architectural element,which is extremely easy to ignore but extremely important component in architectural design.After the Renaissance,the stairs were no longer a simple means of transportation,but a combination of technology and art,and a means of space design.The excellent staircase can improve the grade of ordinary building,but a excellent building may be poor because of the rough staircase design.With the development of science and technology,the cultural buildings controlled by the government and privately have become more and more.Compared with another types of building,the public has higher aesthetic requirements for cultural buildings.The publicity,party and cultural of the building make the stairs in the building not only have the basic traffic functions,but also meet the design requirements of the architectural space,and the visual and spiritual requirements of the people.The existing maps of the stair and the railing in the collection have been unable to meet the needs of the staircase design in the building.Through the analysis of the stairs history,the basic characteristics、structure and the function of the stairs,with the examples of the stairs in a large number of contemporary cultural buildings,the author analyzes the spatial function and detailed structure of the stairs,combs the logic of the staircase design.Summarizing the design method and trends of the staircase.At the same time,the design of the staircase in different types of cultural buildings is provided for the reader to have a more complete reference,guiding the designer to pay attention the problem of stair design in essence,avoiding the external superficial imitation,and deeply pursuing the inherent law of building generation.I hope more designers can pay attention to the design of the stairs and think deeply about the design and style of the stairs.This paper firstly summarizes the background and significance of the staircase in the study of cultural architecture.The first part of the text summarizes the relevant materials in the architectural history books,sorts out the changes of architectural styles in different periods and the development of internal stairs,explores the stair design style and the logic of formation;The second part,explaining the interpretation of cultural architecture,then use the field research method and case analysis method to analyze the "staircase" in contemporary architecture from the classification,function and composition elements of stairs,analyzing the status quo and existing problems of staircase design in contemporary cultural architecture.The third part,using case analysis method,summary comparison method and field research method,starting from the overall style of the stairs to the plane form of the stairs and the detailed structure of the stairs,to study the design method of the stairs in the cultural building;The last part inferring the development of future staircase from the future development of science,digital technology and the psychological needs of users.The author hopes to evoke the designer’s attention to the design of the staircase and the pursuit of the beauty of the staircase form through the analysis of the detailed elements of the"stairs" in the cultural building.
