Breakwater is an important facility in port engineering,and its role is to protect the water area of the port from waves or reduce the effect of waves.Typhoon waves have played a significant role in damaging the breakwater,often causing severe damage to the breakwater,and the damage can be caused in a variety of ways.This article takes the breakwater of a coastal power plant under the action of the "Mangkhut " typhoon wave as the research background,summarizes the research content of breakwaters by scholars at home and abroad,and summarizes the research results and its shortcomings.The breakwater of a power plant is constructed by combining a vertical breakwater and a slope breakwater.The location of the breakwater at the junction of the embankment was severely damaged by the "Mangkhut" typhoon wave on September 16,2018.The heart core stone was severely washed away,and the protective surface on the side outside the port was more severely damaged.In order to explore the characteristics of breakwater destruction and provide a basis for restoration,a recurrence test of breakwater destruction was carried out to restore the breakage process of the breakwater during the wave crossing and record the number of instability of the breakwater protection surface blocks at the same time interval.According to the analysis,when the wave effect is greater than the maximum bearing capacity of the slope breakwater protection surface,brittle failure occurs first,and the bearing capacity of the breakwater decreases rapidly.Then,as the wave height decreases,the damage effect of the waves on the protective surface is relatively weakened.According to the spatial order and speed of the damage of the slope embankment surface,the damage level is divided according to the area.The junction of the dike head belongs to the vulnerable part;the area near the chest wall belongs to the sub-fragile part and the non-fragile part.Based on the analysis of breakwater repeat test results and the design wave and water level conditions,a breakwater repair plan and an improved improvement plan were determined.Membrane bag concrete materials and precast concrete blocks were applied to the damage area on the side ofthe outer side of the harbor.A 40 t accropode is placed near the chest wall.The feasibility of membrane bag concrete and precast concrete blocks in breakwater repair and the characteristics of the interaction between membrane bag concrete and waves were explored through experiments.The study found that increasing the weight of the protective block has played a role in the stability of the breakwater.Among them,the membrane bag concrete has played a key role in maintaining the overall stability of the breakwater.The depletion effect of waves is weak.In the breakwater project,attention should be paid to strengthening the surface area connected with the membrane bag concrete to reduce the erosion problem caused by the wave energy concentration.
