Comparative Study On Plant Landscape In Urban Cemetery

As a special urban land,urban cemetery is a place for people to bury and sacrifice,as well as part of the urban green space system and urban public space.The plant landscape of the modern urban cemetery mainly meets the commemorative function in China,and adopts the model of “one grave with one tree”.The tree species is single,which reflects the lack of ecological functions and space creation functions of plants.The recreation area and the border separation area lack sight blockage between the person and the tombstone,and the plant space creates a lack of comprehensive humanistic care for the slayer and people near the cemetery.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore how the urban cemetery plant landscape combines the comprehensive needs of users and comprehensive coordination with the surrounding environment.The author studied in Poland for one year and lived house near a cemetery,experience the similarities and differences between Chinese and Polish cemeteries,and often visit the cemetery near author's dorm.From the perspective of landscape architecture,this paper selects the urban cemetery plant landscape as the research object,taking China Changsha and Poland Wroclaw Cemetery as examples.Using literature analysis,field research method and comparative analysis method,the cemetery plant landscape construction system is constructed,according to the four functions of the cemetery plant landscape: space creation function,ecological function,aesthetic function,humanistic care function.In-depth study on plant species selection and plant landscape space construction from grave area,transition area and boundary isolation area,and compare the similarities and differences between the plant landscapes of these two cities' cemeteries.The results are as follows:1?Analysis of the cemetery plant landscape construction system in Changsha,China and Wroclaw,Poland,these cemeteries have a common values pursuits behind the differences,that is the trend of pursuing humanistic care,ecologicalization and gardening in cemetery plant landscape.2?Based on the common values pursuits,the design strategy of the cemetery plant landscape is proposed: the humanistic commemorative function of the plant and the space creation function are used to realize humanistic care.Improving the ecological function of the cemetery plant landscape,realize the ecologicalization;Enriching the diversity of the cemetery plant landscape and realize the gardening of the cemetery;This study aims to provide reference of plant landscape in Changsha or other urban cemeteries.
