With the continuous development of the society,the application of motor speed measurement and automatic control system are increasingly enriched in agricultural production,industrial manufacturing,home furnishing,travel and other fields,leading the continuous development and progress of motor speed measurement and control technology.At the same time,with the development of practical needs of all walks of life,the demand for motor speed measurement and control system is also constantly improving,so,the faster the speed,the higher the accuracy,the better the efficiency of the motor speed measurement and control system is to be constantly strive to achieve the goal.In this paper,control design of dc motor is carried out based on FPGA,and the modular design of the system is given.The simulation diagram and circuit diagram of Modelsim are given,and the final result is analyzed.This article mainly around the FPGA technology,the dc motor drive technology,the detection of hall speed sensor,current technology,the control algorithm to carry on the research and design,such as the first application of FPGA technology,dc motor speed measuring technology and the dc motor control technology are introduced,on the present situation and the tendency of the development of the paper expounds the engineering value and practical significance.Then,the core FPGA architecture and functional feasibility of the system,hardware design,software design is described,in which the software design algorithm mainly applies the PID controller algorithm,so that the dc motor control more accurate.Finally,the whole system is verified,the feasibility and correctness of the system are verified according to the experimental results,and the future prospect is summarized.The characteristic of this paper is that the pulse signal output by hall sensor is collected and processed on the FPGA platform to realize the calculation of the rotor speed of the brushless dc motor.At the same time,the speed measurement and control of the small dc motor are jointly completed by using the power driving module of the dc motor,so as to enhance the automation capability of the system.For the driving capacity,ensure that the motor can operate stably and reliably under 2000 rpm,and achieve a stable speed within 200 ms.At the same time,with FPGA as the development platform,Verilog HDL as the circuit development language and PID algorithm embedded in FPGA,the whole measurement and control system can be customized,the development cycle is short,the flexibility is higher,the required external control circuit is less,the stability of the system can be effectively guaranteed,and has a strong application value.
