In nuclear power projects,conventional islands play an important role in converting thermal energy into electrical energy that is ultimately used by users,playing an important role in the entire nuclear power plant.The conventional island electrical system is an important part of the whole conventional island system.Its system design and equipment selection play a vital role in the safety and economy of the whole system.This paper first introduces the development process of nuclear power and nuclear power in China from the macro level,the working principle of nuclear power plants,and the comparative analysis of the differences in the pile types of different nuclear power plants,illustrating the technical superiority of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants.The working principle of the conventional island of PWR nuclear power plant is introduced,and the design principle and requirements of the main electrical system of the conventional island are clearly defined.The reliability research of various main wiring modes is analyzed.According to the characteristics of the three main wiring entry schemes,the main wiring scheme for large-scale pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants is proposed through the comparison of technology and economy.Then,taking an actual large-scale advanced pressurized water reactor nuclear power project as an example,the system short-circuit current is calculated to provide a basis for the selection of subsequent equipment.According to the characteristics of the project,the design of the plant power system is analyzed,including the determination of the plant power voltage level;the calculation of the plant power load;the determination of the auxiliary transformer configuration scheme and the design verification of the backup power supply in the plant.Finally,on the basis of system analysis,according to the actual parameters of the project,combined with relevant design standards and regulations,the selection of the main electrical equipment of the conventional island and the principle of determining the parameters are analyzed.Through analysis and research on the problems existing in some electrical equipment of other projects,the design optimization is carried out,and the relevant equipment design requirements are verified,which provides a reference for the subsequent equipment design of similar large-scale pressurized water reactor nuclear power projects.This paper provides a theoretical basis and reference for the main electrical system design and electrical equipment selection and design of the conventional island of the same large-scale PWR nuclear power project through the analysis and research of the main electrical system of a large-scale pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant.
