| As China’s urbanization has deepened,the area of hard surfaces in cities has continued to expand,and many problems related to water resources have become increasingly apparent.On the one hand water shortage in cities is getting serious;on the other hand the rainwater has not been recycled but discharged rapidly through urban pipe network,which is a big waste of rainwater and even cause pollution to cities.A familiar phenomenon of “seeing the sea” in some cities after a rainstorm indicates that the cities are poor in ability of combating extreme weather.Therefore,good guidance and new ideas are urgently required for the cities’ stormwater management and their sustainable development.The idea of sponge city is an exploration of urban stormwater management with the concept of low-impact development to promote China’s new urbanization.In this paper,under the situation of actively promoting the construction of sponge city in the country,the scale of the square is selected to explore the application and guidance of the low-impact concept in the design of rainwater management in urban squares.The thesis consists of seven chapters.The first chapter introduces the research background,purpose and significance,and analyzes and summarizes the relevant theoretical research and practice at home and abroad,and briefly introduces related concepts such as sponge city and SWMM.,indicating the content of the article and the research route.The second chapter starts from the components of the city square,and investigates and summarizes the evolution trend of the rainwater management in the urban squares in different years in China,which makes the actual situation of the rainwater management in the square clearer.The third chapter uses "indicators" as the planning criterion,and expounds the construction of the urban square rainwater management system from a macro perspective,including the urban square rainwater management objectives and design procedures.The fourth chapter describes the technical measures for stormwater management in urban squares,including grassing ditch,bioretention pond,undercut green land and permeable pavement.The fifth chapter attempts to construct the design process and method of urban square rainwater management from the basic principles,design process and design method,and enhances the operability of sponge city construction in the square.The sixth chapter combines the practice of building a square in Haicheng City,Liaoning Province,and adopts the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to carry out the practical application of sponge square design,and through calculation to determine the design scale of low-impact development facilities.With the help of SWMM model,The implementation effect and ecological benefits of the low-impact development facilities in the square were evaluated,and the relevant theoretical framework was enriched and improved.The seventh chapter is the summary,inadequacies and research prospects of the research. |
