Research On Protective Renewal Of Urban Traditional Streets And Lanes From The Perspective Of Architectural Phenomenology

With the improvement of the awareness of cultural protection,the voices of the society and the protection of history and culture have become more and more intense.In recent years,under the leadership of its government,various types of urban traditional streets and lanes have been protected and updated.Whether it is based on protection and restoration,or focusing on commercial activation,it reflects the traditional streets of various circles and government organizations in China.The importance of the lane and its cultural heritage.However,during the update process,there have been many problems that need to be solved.In order to solve the problem of the loss of place in the renewal of traditional street in today's cities,the problem of perceptual memory is not continuous and the experience is insufficient.This study starts from the protective renewal of traditional streets and tries to pass the lens of architectural phenomenology.The two aspects of spirit and perception are used to explore the characteristics of the traditional urban streets and the perceptual memory.The traditional streets and lanes of the three representative regions under different formation mechanisms are selected,and the typical updated cases are analyzed and interpreted.The specific method of protective renewal of traditional streets and lanes aims to regain the sense of place in the traditional streets and lanes of the city,and to inject a new perceptual experience into the traditional streets and lanes through perceptual synthesis on the basis of continuing the perceptual memory of the streets.To create a pleasant and comfortable street environment to solve the problem of lack of experience.The study is divided into five chapters.The first chapter explains the background,purpose and significance of the research,sorts out the existing research context,and defines the scope and object of the research.The second chapter makes a specific study on phenomenology,and selects two theories applicable to the research of this subject in the field of architectural phenomenology: the comprehensive study of the spirit and perception of the place,and the inspiration of the theory to the protection and renewal of urban traditional streets.In the third chapter,we briefly introduce the development of traditional urban streets and lanes in China.From the introduction of the street style of each dynasty to the interpretation of the two main formation mechanisms,the research object of thispaper is clarified.The traditional streets and lanes of three representative areas with different formation mechanisms are selected,and the characteristics of the place and the perceptual memory of the traditional streets and streets are explored from the aspects of the spirit of the place and the synthesis of perception.The fourth chapter gives two update cases for the three representative regions,from the aspects of the spirit of the place and the perception experience: street space,street atmosphere,perception experience,to analyze and interpret,and summarize the cases Advantages and disadvantages.The fifth chapter analyzes the characteristics of the traditional urban streets and lanes and the perceptual memory summarized in the third chapter,and the specific case analysis of the fourth chapter,to summarize the principles and methods of the urban street.
