| In the 1980 s and 1990 s,reform and opening up accelerated the pace of urbanization.The real estate market also showed a booming trend under the dual effects of planned economy and market economy.During the period,the Chinese built a large number of houses,and by now,a larger part of it has been retained.These old settlements can still be used in terms of basic functions,but at the public space level,they show a contradiction that is seriously mismatched with the development of spiritual life in today's society.On the other hand,these old settlements have gradually become urban centers,and the uncoordinated public space has an impact on urban transportation and resource allocation.Therefore,the problem of public space in old settlements has become one of the social problems that modern cities urgently need to solve.Based on the investigation of the public space in the old residential area of Changsha City,combined with a large number of theoretical studies,this paper proposes a method for updating the public space of the old residential area in Changsha based on the open community theory,which mainly includes the following contents:Firstly,through the data collection and literature search,the background and research status of the research topic are analyzed,the research purpose and significance are clarified,and the research method and framework are established.Secondly,this article conducted a detailed investigation.First,at the city level,study the city's texture profile,understand the organic relationship between the city and the old settlements and urban issues,and provide a macro basis for the open and updated community public space;then analyze the distribution of old residential areas in Changsha,It is clear that most of the old settlements studied are located in the old city or near the city center,and they find that there are many common problems in their public space that need to be solved urgently.Finally,the Wangyue Lake and Hengda communities are selected as representatives.I carefully observed and measured the physical space transportation system,commercial service space and outdoor activity venues,and conducted questionnaires and interviews with residents to understand their spiritual needs for public space.Through the investigation and discovery of the problem,it provides direction for the proposed method of the later update.Thirdly,the theoretical system of the open community is sorted out,from its development background to the basic overall connotation of the theory.Then I extracted the connotation characteristics of the open community public space: a diversified transportation system-providing residents with a good sense of security,a complete functional composition-to meet the living needs of community residents,a sense of place for outdoor public activities-community The construction of residents' sense of belonging.This connotation feature can simultaneously adapt to the problem of material space and humanistic spirit in old settlements.Finally,through the relevant update practice cases at home and abroad,this paper explores the strategy of open and updated public space in old residential areas,and lays a theoretical foundation for the later update system.Then,through the theoretical research and the specific problems of the research,the corresponding update theory system is proposed.First,we optimize the overall community structure,and then propose the update method of traffic organization(diversification of transportation system),the update method of functional organization(completion of business and service facilities),and the update method of outdoor public activity space(placement construction)),and the specific update measures for the refinement of the corresponding,to build a set of updated architecture.Finally,the specific update practice of the public space of Wangyue Lake community is carried out to verify the proposed update method,and provide some reference for subsequent research and specific practical operations. |
