Railway is the main artery of national economy and an important mode of transportation for goods and passengers.Due to the high speed of the train,once the accident happens,it will cause serious consequences,therefore,regular inspection of railway safety is a crucial step in railway operation.Rail is the basic support equipment of train operation.The safety of rail is the most important in railway safety inspection.Rail abrasion degree is the basis of rail grinding and replacement by railway quality inspection department.Therefore,accurately and quickly detecting the rail wear and deformation can improve the railway quality work efficiency and effectively ensure the railway safety.Based on the analysis of rail abrasion detection equipment and systems at home and abroad,this paper designs and develops a real-time rail contour detection system.The main work of the paper is summarized as follows:(1)This paper expounds the measurement technology and principle of the detection system designed in this paper,and confirms the advantages and disadvantages of this design scheme by comparing other measurement technologies;(2)The overall structure and design principle of the measurement system are described,and the software implementation method and process of the system are designed in detail according to the system requirements;(3)In order to deal with the abnormal contours in actual measurement,the methods of wide-area floating window filtering and local median filtering are used to preprocess the contours,and in consideration of the existence of rail bottom slope in the actual rail,the two registration of the measured contour is realized,and finally the coordinate of the measuring point is fitted;(4)The design scheme of the rail contour detection system designed in this paper is proposed: The 2D laser displacement sensors on the left and right sides of the car body are triggered by the photoelectric encoder to collect data of the rail on both sides,data is transmitted via Ethernet to the detection software on the ipc.The software part of the system calculates the rail cross section accuracy through pretreatment and matching calibration.The rail wear is calculated by comparing the standard profile and the rail cross section precision before and after milling(5)Set up an experimental platform in the laboratory to test various aspects of the rail contour detection system designed in this paper: system functional unit testing,integration testing,repeatability testing.Experimental results show that the rail profile detection system designed in this paper meets the expected requirements.
