Research On The Design Of The Exterior Space Of The Community For The Aged

In recent years,with the aging problem in China is increasingly serious,the housing problem of the elderly people has gradually attracted people's attention.As a gathering place for the elderly people's daily life,the elderly community has become a building type of senior living facilities.The design of its exterior space has a great impact on the healthy life of the elderly people,so we should pay attention to it.In this paper,takes the exterior space design of the elderly community as the research object,takes all the elderly as the community service object.Based on the research on the physiological,psychological and behavioral characteristics of the elderly,this thesis summarizes and cross compares the morphological characteristics of enclosed courtyard space.Referring to the exterior space of excellent senior living facilities at cross world,concludes and proposed that the enclosed courtyard is the optimal space mode for the external space environment of the elderly community.Analyze the suitable aging needs,and the microclimate conditions of the enclosed courtyard space provide a stable physical environment for the elderly group;Research found that the good accessibility enhances the spatial controllability of the elderly,improves the efficiency of external space use,and promotes the elderly to carry out outdoor activities,promotes the formation of cognitive map,and increases the sense of community place identity.The enclosed nature of the enclosed courtyard gives the elderly a sense of security;A good sense of belonging is to focus on the personal space of the elderly,and at the same time strengthen the activities,exchanges and mutual cooperation between the neighbors.In the process of exploring the suitable enclosed courtyard space for aging people,this thesis aiming at the particularity of the user groups,with the consideration of the physical and mental health of the elderly people,concludes and proposes that the exterior space design of the elderly community should be based on the principle of establishing a harmonious coexistence of "people and environment".On the basis of meeting their physiological needs,we should pay more attention to their healthy life needs and spiritual and cultural needs;therefore,in the design of the exterior space,we should consider the relationship between the publicity and privacy of the enclosed courtyard space,the convenience and pleasure of the circulation path,the landscape of the vegetation and the nourishing of elderly life.The author extracts the traditional courtyard concept,style and form,combines with the design concept,goal and key points of the modern elderly community exterior space.This thesis summarizes the key points of courtyard design which are suitable for the reconstructionof exterior space scale,garden enjoyment,health care and other aspects of urban elderly community in China.Combining with the case study,this thesis tries to use the theoretical research results to evolve it into the courtyard design method of the exterior space of the elderly community,starting from the overall enclosed balance of the enclosed courtyard space,the good functional division,the interesting circulation path design and the diversity of health care methods.Eventually to create an enclosed courtyard space with high participation.
