Research On Project Change Management In A Architectural Design Company

In the architectural design project,the project change events often occur because of the change of Party A's demand,the change of construction conditions and the design errors and omissions.And if the handling capacity of project change is not enough,it has a great impact on the quality of the project.This involves the project change management.The architectural design of construction engineering is a complex process from scheme design to later construction site service.How to reduce unnecessary project changes and deal with project change events,so that the design unit can design the architectural design scheme to meet the needs of Party A and meet the relevant national laws and regulations in a limited and tense time,is an urgent problem to be solved.The project change management of the project in which A architectural design company engaged is studied as a research sample to solve the problem of the company's existing project change management.Firstly,the basic situation of project change management of A architectural design company is collected and sorted out,and the existing problems that too frequent changes and inadequate handling of changes of project change management are found through data analysis.Secondly,in order to find out the causes of project change management problems,the general influencing factors of project change management are identified from four aspects of planning,implementation,feedback and improvement,and the influencing degree of each factor is quantified by AHP,and the key influencing factors of project change management problems are identified and analyzed.Finally,the targeted project change management improvement plan and safeguard measures are put forward based on analysis results.The conclusion of this paper is as follows: frequent project changes and inadequate handling of project changes are serious problems in project change management of A architectural design company.The problems of project change management are mainly caused by the defect in personnel allocation mode,the defects of the architectural design review process,the defects of the architectural design change procedure,and the weak information transmission and processing ability.In order to improve project change management,the company needs to take the following measures: optimize the deployment process of designers by establishing matrix organization structure.Strengthen the evaluation through setting six evaluation thresholds,adding problem-solving tracking inspection process and the mechanism of reward and punishment.Improving the change procedure through setting up special departments to take charge of data filing and changing procedure according to the classification of change urgency.Strengthen the project change pre control and improve the information transmission and processing between stakeholders and designers through the establishment of information sharing platform.Only in this way can we reduce the frequency of project change,improve the handling capacity of project change,and provide reference for A architectural design company and other similar companies.
