Case Study On Change Management Of HS Engineering Design Project

With the continuous development of science and technology,in modern engineering construction,the overall scale of the project continues to increase,the time consumed continues to extend,and the complexity of the project becomes more and more complicated.As a result of the construction of more and more uncontrollable factors,but also inevitably caused the continuous occurrence of engineering changes.The change of construction technology and construction method brought by the engineering change will have a serious impact on the progress,cost,quality and safety of the construction,and even lead to the damage of the economic and social benefits of the construction project.These situations make engineering project change management become the key work of project management,which needs attention from enterprises and construction units.The HS project is the medical mineral water project with an annual output of 600,000 tons of the company.Due to the long construction period,large amount of investment and many participants,a big problem is the change management in the construction management process.A series of problems such as the increase of cost,the delay of construction period and the influence of quality are caused by the inadequate change management.The research emphasis of this paper is to adopt case study method on the basis of project change control theory.From the analysis of HS project site visa frequent occurrence,contract management confusion,change caused by the increase in costs and other issues,the project management problems existing in in-depth analysis and research.The existing problems and causes in change management are profoundly summarized,which are highlighted in the neglect of change process management and the lack of internal audit control of construction drawings.This paper studies the content and process of change management,and takes HS project as an example to elaborate the change management.The problems of change management in the implementation of HS project are discussed.In view of the HS project,some systems and processes for optimizing change management are proposed,and some improvement Suggestions are put forward for strengthening the procedural management of changes and establishing the accountability system.It provides more ideas and references for engineering practitioners to better manage and control change,guides all parties involved in construction projects to carry out effective engineering change management,and makes engineering project management more standardized.
