Application Of Garden Plants In Different Types Of Urban Green Space In Xi’an City

Urban garden green space is an effective means to improve the urban ecological environment,and it has an irreplaceable role for urban residents.The use of plants is an important means of manifesting the vitality and vitality of garden green spaces.This article focuses on the Xi’an city under the climate characteristics of the Xi’an as the research object,using field survey methods and literature review methods to evaluate and analyze the functional,landscape,and ecological indicators of garden plants in eight different types of urban green spaces.The results show that different types of urban green space in Xi’an have a large difference in plant application.There are less than 300 tree species in actual application,the configuration mode is relatively single,and the regional cultural characteristics are not prominent.(1)Arrangement of trees and shrubs is predominant in street green space.The arrangement of plants is monotonous,the space resources are insufficiently used,especially the lack of vertical greening,the landscape level is not rich enough,and there are certain defects in both ornamental and functional aspects.(2)There are many types of green plants in the community green space.The trees and shrubs are reasonably matched,rich in colors,and properly managed,which meets the requirements for residential plant selection and management,and creates a comfortable living environment for residents.However,for the old communities,the green area is insufficient,there are few plant species,and the situation of improper management still needs to be improved.(3)Taking the campus of Shaanxi Normal University as an example,the campus has rich and diverse plant species,which can basically achieve the campus landscape goals of four seasons and three seasons of flowers,providing a good environment for teaching and research.(4)In the park greenbelt taking Huancheng Park as an example,the overall plant species are relatively single,and the native tree species are widely used,but their ornamental is insufficient,the amount of ornamental plants is small and the form of matching is single,which does not respond to the city wall culture.Cannot set off the historical and cultural atmosphere.(5)The planting types of the Bell and Drum Tower Square are relatively simple,and the four trees are all evergreen trees.Aiming at the investigation status quo and existing problems,the plant materials,planting modes,and how to reflect the culture of Guanzhong in the planting area were thoroughly explored.At the same time,it is recommended to increase the excavation and development of native plants.The Guanzhong area is close to the Qinling Mountains and has abundant plant resources.There are a lot of novel plant resources in the Qinling Mountains.In garden and green space,in addition to selecting suitable plants,matching them,and comprehensively using planting methods,it is of great significance to improve the survival rate of garden plants and ensure the growth of seedlings.This paper also conducts research from soil improvement,transplanting technology,and later management.Suggested measures.
