Study On The Planning And Design Strategy Of The Grand Canal Heritage Park

With the construction of the Grand Canal cultural belt and the success of the application for World Heritage in China,developing Grand Canal Heritage Park based on the historical and cultural resources has gradually become a tendency for the construction of major cities along the canal.Outline of the Grand Canal Cultural Protection Inheritance and Utilization Plan and Great Wall,Grand Canal,Long March National Cultural Park Construction Plan issued in 2019 promoted the construction of the Grand Canal Heritage Park further.As World Heritage Site,Grand Canal and its rich heritage along the route could be utilized for Grand Canal Heritage Park construction,which of great significance on cultural heritage,ecological restoration,and site protection,as an important measure of promoting national culture and enhance national self-confidence to driving the construction of Grand Canal cultural belt and catering the development strategy of national park construction.However at present,there are many problems in this,especially in ecological restoration and cultural inheritance.How to inherit the historical and cultural connotation of heritage better,while maintaining the ecological environment of the Grand Canal and both sides has become an important problem in the construction of the Grand Canal Heritage Park.Planning and Design Strategy of Grand Canal Heritage Park from the perspective of cultural heritage and ecological restoration were summarized in this paper.First,the concept of Grand Canal Heritage Park was described,the particularity and its relationship with the city and the heritage were summarized via the relevant basic theoretical research to lay the theoretical foundation of the summary of planning and design strategy.Then,relevant cases were analyzed to to summarize the problems in the planning and design of the Grand Canal Heritage Park and provide solving guidance for subsequence.Next,had an elaboration of strategy according to the order of overall planning and special design from the perspective of culture and ecology.Finally,a complete set of planning and design strategies was summarized,and a practical project the author was involved in,and titled The Planning and Design of the Source of the Grand Canal Baifuquan Park,was demonstrated as an example.
