Research On The Design Of Rural Micro-Vacation Complex

As the inheritor of history and culture,traditional villages are not only the crystallization of our ancestors' wisdom,but also the embodiment for our nostalgia.In recent years,the development direction of traditional villages has faced severe challenges.It has become a practical issue to find a proper way for the conservation and utilization of traditional dwellings,vitalization of countryside,inheriting of local culture and rebooting of rural economy,which has a great pragmatic significance.Exemplified by Lanyu village in the first part,this paper aims to expound an effectively balanced way for traditional village conservation and economic development with the consideration of rural rejuvenation and tourism development policy.Through reading a large number of literatures and summarizing relative practices of traditional village conservation,rural complex and country-side tourism,I offer a theoretical framework for the rural “ mini-trip complex ”,which is a combination of “ rural complex ” with multiple converged industries and the emerging concept of “mini trip”.With analysis of excellent local cases,this paper abstracts a suitable ideology and method to guide the conservation practice of Lanyu village.Besides,in the second part,a detailed diagnosis for the development of Lanyu village has been taken in this paper,with the analysis of its geographic environment,local building,life-style and culture.In the meantime,field survey and face-to-face interview with local craftsmen and inhabitants have also been done to figure out the advantages and existing problems for its development through a research of the overall environment,architectural techniques and living conditions in Lanyu village.With consideration of the geographic limits of Lanyu village,the time requirements and target groups of mini-trip,this paper offers a complete solution,including but not limited to the protection,restoration and reconstruction of local buildings,the rural rejuvenation,the inheritance of local culture and the planning of its travel route.The design and practice of this paper has shown that mini-trip complex is suitable for the current trend of rural revitalization and tourism,which is helpful for the conservation and sustainable exploitation of traditional villages.This paper aims to offer referencesfor the rural development at current stage.
