With the rapid development of China's cities in recent years, resources and environmental issues have become increasingly prominent, and the threat to human survival and development has continued to increase. To this end,the whole society has begun to reflect on and explore the development path of economic, social and environmental coordination, and put forward the theory of sustainable development, and vigorously promote the concept of sustainable development. The concept of sustainable development has gradually penetrated the hearts of the people, but it has only stayed in the protection of the ecological environment. Therefore,in the landscape and planning,we neglect the sustainability of other aspects besides the ecological environment, especially the human and spiritual care. For landscape architects,on the one hand,in order to meet the rapid development of the government's pursuit of rapid construction, the country's infrastructure and GDP are growing at a rapid rate.On the one hand,it is necessary to vigorously promote the leading idea of environmental protection, but it has led to a template-based development approach. It has caused the situation that environmental protection is not implemented and the environmental landscape design is the same.In the end,the design model ignores the sustainability of people. The "Co-Creative" proposed in this paper is a sustainable design model,in which the mountain landscape design guided by this model can better reflect sustainable development. The "Co-Creative" model is mainly embodied in the planning and design of the public participation landscape, that is,various interest groups related to the landscape design of the plot, including landscape professional designers, experts, government workers,as well as ordinary local people and various enterprises and Managers, etc.,these different interests participate in the process of planning and design in order to create a landscape characterized by regional characteristics and environment. At the same time,"Co-Creative" also contains a new idea: public participation is not only limited to the initial intention and decision-making of the project, but also involves personal participation in the construction and creation of the project. After the project is completed, the public can become part of the landscape through its own activities. The mountain landscape design in this mode can be sustainable, public participation, and break the current status of “speed construction and quick release”.Through literature analysis, case study, argumentation analysis and practice and thinking methods, this study firstly interprets the concept of "Co-Creative" model and mountain landscape, and refines its core ideas;then passes the Echigo and Awaji Island dream stage. Two cases explore the principles and techniques of mountain landscape design, compare and summarize the process, degree and mode of public participation, and finally summarize the essence of the two programs. After that, based on the summarization of the two cases and the review of the theoretical literature, qualitative analysis is carried out for the "Co-Creative" model to determine its theoretical framework and content. Then combine the characteristics and constituent elements of the mountain landscape to explore the content of mountain landscape design under the "Co-Creative" model. The final guidance and application in the design practice,I hope that the "Co-Creative" model can provide a new idea and method for the public to participate in the landscape design,so that the landscape design will eventually achieve the goal of sustainable development.
