| Throughout the ages,architecture has witnessed the history of the development of human civilization in a unique way.As a typical architectural category,garden has a long history and diverse forms.It is a physical carrier that highlights human material pursuit and spiritual needs.The aesthetic concept embodied in the set method and lifestyle is the external manifestation rooted in the cultural soil,realizing the dual residence of the body and the soul.This thesis adopts the theories of cultural study and interdisciplinary research methods,focusing on the interaction between the garden aesthetic and the current urban space aesthetic,and exploring the era value of the garden aesthetic.The article firstly combs the development of gardens in the two garden systems of China and the West,explores the aesthetic characteristics of garden art under the different cultural backgrounds,and highlights the cultural heritage of Chinese classical gardens.As the essence and representative of Chinese classical gardens,Suzhou gardens integrates the essence of traditional culture and the aesthetic taste of daily life into the harmonious art of “the work of heaven and man”.This thesis takes Suzhou classical literati private gardens as the main research object,and combines the corresponding aesthetic theories to explore the aesthetic characteristics of Suzhou gardens.In addition,along with the process of modernity,while urbanization has achieved certain results,various contradictions have begun to emerge,and more and more people are calling for a return to the beauty of the city itself.In view of the current situation of contemporary urban landscape design and aesthetic planning,this thesis attempts to extract the essence of traditional culture from the garden aesthetics,and combines the relevant urban space theories and landscape social theories to explore the spatial appearance and cultural construction of the ideal city in the future.From the two dimensions of the activation of garden culture memory and the exploration of future city representation,combing the practical significance of Suzhou gardens’ aesthetics to today’s urban spatial planning. |
