Analysis On The Characteristics Of Commercial Space Forms Of Traditional Villages In Xiangxi Area

The Xiangxi area is located at the junction of Hubei,Chongqing and Guizhou provinces.It passes through the Central Plains and reaches the Yangtze River.It is also the gateway to the Bayu.The location is very important and it is a battleground for the dynasties.Hunan's four major river basins,the capital of Hunan Province,flows through the Xiangxi area,leaving a rich shipping civilization.Thanks to the development of shipping,land transportation also plays an important role as a supplementary point for shipping.The circulation of economy and technology has nurtured and developed a large number of traditional villages with commercial civilization,and the complex terrain,diverse transportation,historical differences,and ethnic diversity have made them show different developmental trends.With the decline of shipping and the rise of land transportation,these commercial villages,which had the reputation of “small Nanjing”,lost their transportation advantages and gradually fell into the mountains.The traditional commercial space of commercial villages is a weak link in the study of traditional villages.However,in the development and protection of villages,it has to face the construction of commercial space.The blind copy can only bring the thousand streets of commercial blocks,and the long-term revitalization.Commercial space requires a deep discussion of the historical and cultural values behind it and the reasons for its formation.Therefore,the formation of the commercial space form of traditional villages is the result of multiple effects under the historical,cultural value and formation reasons behind it.Therefore,it is imperative to sort out and summarize the characteristics of existing traditional village commercial space.This article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter briefly describes the research background of traditional villages,the research status at home and abroad and the research methods.The second chapter outlines the humanities and geography of traditional villages in Xiangxi,the reasons for the formation of commercial villages,and the development history of important commercial and trade towns in western Hunan,summarizing and analyzing the spatial distribution and spatial structure of traditional villages.The third chapter analyzes the elements of the traditional village commercial space,from the natural environment,traffic environment,village genesis,commodity circulation,and ethnic groups,analyzes its cultural influences,and how it affects the commercial space form of the village.The fourth chapter summarizes thecommercial space of the existing villages in seven aspects: plane layout,fa?ade form,street scale,underside pavement,combination mode,store space form and temporary commercial node,and studies its morphological characteristics and differences,commercial format.With layout.The fifth chapter,aiming at the characteristics of the traditional village commercial space,through the spatial evolution,proposes suggestions and strategies for the protection of commercial space from the material and spiritual levels.The sixth chapter is a summary of the full text.The content and material level of the revitalization of the traditional village commercial space protects its spatial pattern,village style,street texture and architectural features.The spiritual level should focus on its historical evolution,cultural thoughts,and spiritual inheritance.The protection of the traditional village commercial space should not become a commercial-only body.It should pay attention to the dual combination of material and spiritual culture,and inherit and update according to the history.It is necessary to rebuild an ecosystem based on traditional villages,to integrate multiple ideologies and lifestyles,and to have the ability to self-repair,self-improve,and self-grow.
