Research On The Fuzziness Of Youth Hostel Space Based On The Psychology Of Environmental Behavior

The development of the cultural tourism market and the increasing consumption of youth-oriented tourism have led to a rapid increase in the size and number of youth hostels that are closely connected.The concept of youth hostels was introduced to the Chinese market in 1998 and its development time is still short.Therefore,the current research on youth hostels in China is still at the stage of exploration.The research direction of it is also reflected in the major categories of tourism,development history,commercial development,decorative design and architectural design.The research on the spatial characteristics of youth hostels mostly stays in the interaction and interaction.Through reviewing relevant literatures at home and abroad,analyzing excellent design cases,and actually going to the site to investigate the space of the hostel,using these research methods,the directional and targeted space of the youth hostel was discussed in depth.The research results show that there are widespread phenomena in the space of youth hostels that strengthen spatial fixation and weaken spatial variable functions,and emphasize the construction of missing interactive functions.Secondly,the psychological and behavioral characteristics of the residents in the youth hostel are affected by the environment of the hostel,showing various physiological and psychological needs at different times.Thirdly,the concrete use of the fuzzy space of youth hostels is reflected in the shared fuzzy space,transitional fuzzy space and living environment.The ambiguity of the hostel space has four characteristics: the variability of the spatial interface,the ambiguity of the spatial function,the implicitness of the spatial experience,and the multiple adaptability of the space.The topic is based on the theory of environmental behavioral psychology,from the perspective of the psychological needs,behavioral habits and spatial ambiguity of the people in the hostel.The design layout of the space ambiguity research on youth hostels was put forward in the space layout of the youth hostels,the furniture scale,the human flow line,the fixedness of the weakened space,and the space atmosphere to highlight the environmental characteristics.The subject research expounds the traits of the ambiguity of the youth hostelspace,and shows the interaction between people and the hostel environment.From the aspects of emotional interaction and information exchange,we will enrich the experience of the guests and create humanistic value for the hostel space.The research of the subject plays an active guiding role in the research of subject theory,and provides methods and ideas for the follow-up scholars to study the spatial characteristics of the hostel,and has rich practical significance for the future development direction of the youth hostel.
