| Youth hostel originate from the Europe,with hundreds of history in the world.Now,with the development of social economy and pluralisam of trip mode,youth hostel,as a new style of hotel architecture,has attracted large amount of tourist,with its unique open-up management idea,self-help lodging mode,and its distinct theme.And in the motivating of the concept of Gap Year,youth,as a group of people who dares to accept new idea,and pays more attention to self-value realization,goes outside to practice environment protecting,even regarding the youth hostels as their temporary home,therefore,modern youth hostel,is not the synonymous of cheap hotels.Human’s behavior can be influenced by the space environment design,but in our country,some hostels pays more attention to commercial interest,rather than the construction and the renovation,and they ignore the psychological needs of the youth,leads to the declining of the space quality and dissatisfactory for the diverse behavior needs of the youth.Therefore,this paper from the perspective of contemporary youth behavior psychological need,studys the youth hostel space,through a half-year abroad and domestic research and three-month domestic case research,I have organized a large number of instance data,and probes into the youth behavior from their psychological need,aims to explore how to build space for youth hostel to meet the psychological demand of youth behavior to re-stimulate youth hostels vitality,and provides referential material for the space design of modern youth hostel.The first chapter is the introduction of the related research background and significance,research contents and methods,such as the research object,and to make a logical analysis research on the whole,and briefly described the basic framework and content of research.The second chapter expounds the related concepts of youth hostel,analyses the behavior psychological need of youth,and probes into the demand from a different perspective of how to do space design.The third,fourth,fifth chapters,as the core chapters,respectively from the perspective of 3 main demands for youth hostel,including economy needs,communication needs and individual needs,to guide the contemporary youth hostel space design,summed up the youth hostel space design conforming to the contemporary youth needs,namely the openness of the applicability of the space design,space design and the thematic space design.Finally,as the conclusion of this paper,the research results are summarized,and a prospect has been made. |
