System,Experience And Tectonic:Case Study On ZAO/Standar Dar Chitecture' Projects 2009-2017

The design idea of ZAO/standardarchitecture is always related to two keywords:openness and precision since its inception in 2001.The architect's sensibility and rigorous speculation about the Architecture are the support of his works.In the face of multi-dimensional problems from the site to construction process,a variety of strains of his works are carried out in a series of concrete operations,which cannot be fully described by the simple metaphysical theory summary.The self-description and comments of the related works published earlier have deeply discussed the connotation and design concept of the ZAO/standardarchitecture' s works,but the detailed discussion and horizontal comparison based on the design process have been relatively few,and cannot be fully developed limited to the length of articles.This paper hopes to present an accurate picture of architect through the analysis of extensive reading and intensive reading of cases,and the restoration of the system,the experience and the process of interaction.Three typical projects of ZAO/standardarchitecture from 2009 to 2017 were selected.The region stretches Tibet,Shanghai and Beijing,and the scale falls between 35 m2 and 8700 m2 and the project cycles range from 1 to 6 years.Based on the commonness generated from the differences of works background,it showed the process thinking and insight of ZAO/standardarchitecture.The explanation bases on the time clue,and study the project from concept to construction to carry out the relevant background and response operations.Three topics are interdependent and intertwined with each other.Thinking contexts formed from this are staggered and flexible,and cannot be summarized simply.In order to avoid the trap of simplification and misreading in traditional review articles,the paper presents a kind of documentary and objectivity spontaneously by constructing a network of related secondary terms within and between projects.
