As the future development of the automotive industry,a multi-protocol hybrid automotive network architecture can fully meet the cost and performance requirements of automobiles.As the core component of the vehicle's electronic and electrical architecture,as the data interaction center of the vehicle's network,when communicating between different networks,the on-vehicle gateway(GW)controller can connect their data to interact,for example CAN,LIN,MOST,Flex Ray and so on.In addition,in order to improve the scalability,security and confidentiality of the vehicle topology,the on-vehicle gateway controller is used as an independent electronic control unit in the design of the vehicle architecture.Nowadays,the on-vehicle gateway controller has become an indispensable and important component in the vehicle's electrical and electronic architecture.Therefore,in the development and production of the on-vehicle gateway controller,a full-featured and stable test system is indispensable.This article starts from the background and significance of the on-vehicle gateway controller's research,analyzes the domestic and foreign development of the on-vehicle gateway controller's test technology,and summarizes the problems existing in the current test system.Aiming at the problems of single function and lower efficiency of the current test system,based on the existing test technology,the automatic test system based on CANoe is designed.First,by analyzing the working principles and industry standard specifications of the on-vehicle gateway controller,the test items and the evaluation criteria are clarified.Aiming at the problem of single function,on the basis of the routing test module,the system adds diagnostic test module.Meanwhile,through the analysis and application of the decision table method,the coverage of test cases is improved.Secondly,based on the analysis of the working principle and main functions of the vehicle-mounted gateway controller,the overall design plan of the test system is formulated,the software design ideas and hardware selection schemes are introduced in detail.Aiming at the problem of lower efficiency,CANoe's test attribute set and diagnostic function set are used to write test scripts which can be automatically performed the functional test of the on-vehicle gateway and improve the test efficiency.Finally,the test platform is built according to the overall design scheme of the on-vehicle gateway controller test system,and the actual on-vehicle gateway controller is used to verify the function and performance of the test system.In order to verify the versatility of the system,three different brands of gateways were used as the test object for functional verification.The results show that when the complexity of the test object is high,the test pass rate is reduced by 10%.In order to verify the stability and reliability of the system,according to the number of in-vehicle networks,the three gateways of a certain brand car are used as the test object,and different requirements specifications are used as the system input,and the tests are performed in sequence.The verification results show that the system can run stably and the pass rate of each test item is 100%.The average time for automatic execution of routing function test cases is about 4s,and the average time for automatic execution of fault code test cases is about 6s.Compared with the execution time,the test efficiency is significantly improved.In summary,this test system can test the functions of the vehicle-mounted gateway controller.
