Today’s China is in a decisive period for building a well-off society in an all-round way.With the expansion of the city,the rapid development of the economy,the adjustment and upgrading of the industrial structure,and the development of big data on the Internet,the transformation of the industry has also changed from the "industry 1.0" in the steam engine era In the "Industry 4.0" era where information technology is used for industrial transformation,intelligence,technology,and automation have affected traditional industrial production methods.Industrial buildings with great contributions have gradually withdrawn from the historical stage.Old industrial buildings and urban expansion in the urban areas The contradiction between the increasing demand for land resources arises at the historic moment.To resolve this contradiction and solve the problem of leaving old and abandoned industrial buildings requires the joint efforts of the national government,city builders,enterprises and other sectors of society.As an important part of urban architecture,the embodiment of urban development history,and the reflection of industrial culture on architecture,industrial buildings have important values that cannot be ignored,such as social,economic,and historical and cultural values.At present,domestic and foreign research on the utilization of waste industrial buildings is actively explored in both theory and practice.The conversion between "old" and "new" of industrial buildings is the secondary design and reuse of waste industrial buildings.This conversion method is a relatively suitable way to solve problems.The waste industrial building of boiler house in Anshan City is also an inevitable product of rapid social development.As an auxiliary building for major industrial development,the boiler house is researched on the transformation and utilization of it,fully exploiting the value of building reuse,and then finding suitable utilization strategies.It has great practical significance for the integration of resources,economic development and the characteristics of industrial cities in Anshan City.This article starts with the research on the use of waste industrial buildings,summarizes the use models and experiences of waste industrial buildings at home and abroad,and combines the development history of Anshan City’s industry and the current status of waste industrial buildings in the city,and specifically proposes Anshan City boiler room waste industrial buildings Based on the principles of use and design methods,the specificity and feasibility of this type of industrial building are analyzed.According to the data and data obtained from practical investigations,threetypes of models that are relatively in line with the development and utilization of boiler room space in Anshan City were proposed,and related schemes were designed to find new ideas for the effective reuse of old industrial buildings in the boiler room.It is hoped that through the research in this field,relevant people will pay more attention to the relatively special waste industrial buildings,and hope that it can supplement the existing research results in China to provide some reference for other special types of waste industrial buildings research.
