At present, our country usually adopts the method of burning for industrial waste water. The process of industrial waste combustion will produce smoke, which contains a large amount of waste heat, and this part of waste heat can be utilized by waste heat boiler for recycling. However, as the flue gas contains a large amount of low melting point and easy slagging impurities,irrational design of boiler furnace will lead to serious ash deposition and slagging, which will affect the effect of waste heat recovery, even result in serious accidensts such as plugging pipe, tube burst and production termination.And that will produce a great impact on the enterprise’s economic efficiency and safety production. As a result, the design of a new type of highly efficient waste-water incineration boiler will effectively reduce or even avoid fouling and slagging, which will produce profound significance to the enterprise production and the social development.By referring to the related internal and external literatures and combining with the domestic actual situation, this paper first gives an overview of the commonly used domestic waste incineration boiler technology and application.Especially,this paper focuses on a new kind of efficient boiler equipment--self cleaning corner tube waste incineration boiler, which leads to the study of the actual engineering design project.Then according to the specific design requirements, this paper makes an overall analysis of waste heat recovery system and analyzes the composition of smoke and quantity of waste heat resources. By synthetically considering economic and technical factors, this paper make a preliminary design. According to the above-mentioned design scheme, the author establishes a mathematical model of the heat recovery, and gives a detailed calculation of this mathematical model, including flue gas properties calculation, furnace size calculation, thermodynamic calculation, the calculation of flow resistance, and C++program calculation of waste heat recovery. Then we obtain the parameter values and the integrated design scheme by calculating in the environment of Microsoft Visual C++6.0. In addition, in this paper the boiler weld cracking leakage problems are also studied deeply.Finally, the author carries out the investment budget, thermodynamic analysis, techno-economics analysis and the slagging prediction, and evaluates the benefit of this design scheme from the point view of energy saving and economic benefit as well.Through the above analysis shows that, all investment of this waste heat boiler renovation will be fully recovered in4~5months.The energy-saving effect and economic benefits of this renovation are both very considerable. In addition, through this renovation the enterprise environmental quality can be greatly improved.All in all, the economic and social benefits generated by this boiler renovation project are particularly significant.
