A Study On The Application Of Localculture In The Design Of Chongqingsouthwest Small Town

The reform and opening up has brought infinite vitality to the development of small towns in China,and the pace of construction of small towns has also accelerated.However,with the continuous expansion of the construction scale of small towns,it gradually shows the trend of similar features and loss of features.Blind comparison,imitation,plagiarism,so that a large number of new buildings in small towns and local traditional characteristics of the building is very different," one side of a thousand towns " phenomenon is very common.Therefore,it is necessary to restore the original style of small towns.Because of the natural environment,historical and cultural differences,forming small towns with different characteristics.Local culture is the most representative of its differences.How to combine the local cultural elements of this region with the style and features construction of small towns in this region is the focus of this thesis.This paper takes the application of local culture in the design of small towns as the research object,which is divided into six chapters.The first chapter discusses the background,purpose and significance of this study,and analyzes the research status of small towns with domestic and foreign characteristics;The second chapter makes clear the relevant theories of local culture,expounds the basic concepts of small towns and urban features involved in the study,clarifies the connotation of local culture,and the application of local culture inheritance in the design of small towns' style and features;the third chapter considers and summarizes the corresponding strategies of the design of small towns and makes clear the principles of local style design,that is,the principle of local characteristics,the preservation of landscape resources,the principle of ecological environment priority,the principle of suitability and practicality.Preserve the humanistic characteristic landscape of the local culture texture of the small town,excavate the deep connotation of the local culture,apply it to the design of the style and features of the small town,construct the spiritual appeal of the small town,and show the quality of life of the small town residents.The fourth chapter investigates several ancient towns in southwest Chongqing,and applies the strategy of the third chapter to the thinking design of the small town in southwest Chongqing,and summarizes the design language of the local culture style of the small town in southwest Chongqing,so as to prepare for the design of the next chapter.The sixth chapter summarizes the research contents and shortcomings of the whole paper.In a word,this paper takes Chongqing southwest Chongqing as an example,through the field investigation and investigation of many ancient towns in southwest Chongqing,as well as the study of "local culture ",deeply excavates the purest elements of " local culture " in southwest Chongqing from the ancient town,and combines the environmental background of Changshi Old Street and the living needs of residents,and applies it to the concrete style and features design.So that after the transformation of the old Changshi Street features unique overall features.At the same time enhance the cultural cohesion of the region and enhance the cultural identity of the residents of the region.
