Being the ‘corporate production of both the people and the nature',city is a typical cultural landscape.Being the people's end-result and psychic homestead,city has reflected the basic and special cultural feature of the local area.China has seven large rivers and many potamic water system,and many famous cities along them such as Shanghai,Wuhan,Guangzhou,Chongqing,Nanjing,Hangzhou,The former residence of a celebrity is a cultural product left over from the times and social development.As a place where celebrities were born,grew up,and lived,they have witnessed various life and creative activities of celebrities,and carried the spiritual connotation of celebrities within a certain period of time.The rich cultural resources of celebrity homes also have extremely high commercial and tourist value in modern society,which is worth exploring and using.Due to the strict protection requirements of the celebrity's former residence,the current society's protection and use of celebrity's former residence is too one-sided.The lack of publicity,development and utilization of celebrities and the former residence's buildings is actually a waste of cultural resources.With the development of the process of reusing cultural relics in China,the protection and utilization of celebrities' former residences will become the focus of attention.Huangshan is an important tourist city in China.The rich cultural,historical,and scientific value of the existing celebrities' former residences in Huangshan City will also become an important part of tourism resources and drive the development of the city.Based on the above background conditions,the thesis takes the former residence of celebrities in the urban area of Huangshan as the research object,and starts with the actual investigation to analyze its value characteristics and its obstacles in protection and utilization.Combined with related domestic cases as a reference direction for protective renewal,this paper analyzes the differences in the protective strategies of celebrities' former residences in the urban area of Huangshan and the specific developments including streets,building repairs,and building spaces.In the renewal of the famous celebrities' former residences in the urban area of Huangshan,the surrounding environment,the functional circulation of the former residences,and the building techniques may be considered to be updated,and these methods are applied to the protective renewal design of the former residence of Cheng Dawei at different levels.I hope to provide a reference for the update of the former residences of celebrities in theurban area of Huangshan through the summary method and design content.
