Research On Low-maintenance Plant Landscape Construction Method And Technology

In the case of increasingly serious ecological environment problems,the crisis of energy and resources gradually deepened,and the problem of labor shortage,the construction and development of conservation-oriented gardens is imminent.However,in the present,there are many problems in the plant landscape in the city,such as large amount of maintenance and high maintenance cost.In addition,with the continuous change of people's aesthetic taste and the continuous development of ideas,the natural wild interesting plant landscape is more and more favored by people.Therefore,the voice of low maintenance of plant landscape is increasing.The low maintenance plant landscape aims to solve the problems of excessive maintenance quantity and high maintenance cost in the later period,through reasonable plant selection,scientific design methods and planting and management techniques.Low maintenance of plant landscape greatly saves energy resources and labor,is a powerful measure to achieve conservation-oriented gardens,is to achieve sustainable development of plant landscape The new model of exhibition is also the goal of future plant landscape development,which is of great significance to the development of society and landscape architecture.This paper first redefines the low-maintenance plant landscape,and uses the case analysis method to extract the characteristics of the low-maintenance plant landscape on the basis of analyzing and studying the typical landscape cases at home and abroad.Secondly,based on the characteristics of low-maintenance plant landscape,using the field investigation method,taking Fuzhou park green space as an example,through a large number of field investigation and observation of each type of park green space,the regional types suitable for creating low-maintenance plant landscape,that is," low-maintenance area " type,are extracted and analyzed;the species of plants with low maintenance degree and good effect are recorded,and the selection of plant materials for low-maintenance plant landscape construction is provided According to;summarize the overall characteristics of the low maintenance area;find out the problems existing in the current low maintenance area.Third,according to the problems existing in the low maintenance area,the landscape construction method of each low maintenance area type is established.Fourthly,the construction technology of low-maintenance plant landscape in Fuzhou was established from two aspects: planting and management.Finally,according to the existing problems of each regional type,combined with the construction methods and techniques proposed in this paper,the optimization suggestions and optimization design are put forward.The main findings are as follows:(1)The low-maintenance plant landscape is an artificial plant community landscape which can grow and reproduce independently according to the growth characteristics of plants,and can maintain the normal growth and better landscape effect of plants and bring into full play the ecological benefits through simple management on the basis of respecting the laws of nature.The characteristics of low-maintenance plant landscape are that the main plant composition is native plants,supplemented by exotic plants;the planting mode is near-natural;the community structure is single but relatively stable;the landscape style presents the characteristics of natural wild interest.(2)The types of areas suitable for constructing low-maintenance plant landscape in park green space of Fuzhou are "low-maintenance areas ",including boundary area,partition area,slope protection area,depression area,waterfront area and sub-bridge area.A total of 131 plants,23 trees,18 shrubs,65 herbs and 16 wild plants were used in these areas.These areas have the characteristics of weak landscape function,partial location,low human disturbance and good ecological environment.At present,there are four problems: single plant species,poor plant landscape effect,serious soil exposure and lack of conservation and management.(3)According to the existing problems in low-maintenance areas,the construction methods of low-maintenance plant landscape are studiedfrom soil construction methods,topographic construction methods,plant selection methods and community construction methods,and the main points of landscape construction of each low-maintenance area type are put forward,and several specific plant community patterns are recommended.The construction technology of low-maintenance plant landscape in Fuzhou was put forward from two aspects: planting density,transplanting period,seed mixing technology,root-limiting technology,planting material,water-saving technology,fertilizer application,pest control,plastic pruning and weed control.
