Study On Convenience Of Room Space Design In Express Hotel

Nowadays,China witnesses an upgraded consumption and a sustainable and health development of the economy.Tourism increasingly becomes an important part of people's pursuit of good lives and spiritual culture.Under such backgrounds,domestic hotel industry develops rapidly.However,ordinary consumers can't afford star-rated hotels while small and medium-sized hostels can't meet their needs of good sanitation and facilities.Fast chain hotel hence becomes popular and numerous for its “moderate price and comfortable environment”.According to the investigation,most domestic fast chain hotel consumers are tourists who prefer “short stay and frequent check-in”,so guest rooms will be frequently used.It's necessary to analyze and research the convenience in guest room space design.The thesis analyzes the five design elements of the hotels investigated including “guest room layout”,“spatial form”,“spatial streamline”,“special interface” and “space function facilities” based on the interior design principle.The thesis concludes four methods of the convenience design of the guest room space in the fast chain hotel: “focusing on the reasonable space scale,improving the specific spatial sequence,enhancing the visual spatial awareness and analyzing the efficient space management”.The thesis further concludes that: the convenience of the guest room space design in these hotels is based on the anthropometry theory,environmental perception theory,environmental behavior theory and the theory of human perception,which can be proved in the case study part.The fast chain hotel faces a huge market demand and increasing market share annually.To meet consumers' requirement for a comfortable and convenient living environment,the author concludes the “convenient” guest room design of these hotels through the space design of the guest room.Therefore,the thesis has a high realistic significance and can help provide the theoretical reference for the guest room design of the fast chain hotel in the future.Figure39;Table31;Reference 42...
