Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,with the development of the accelerator driven sub-critical system(ADS),various types of superconducting cavities are applied to linear accelerators.The ADS injector II,which is undertaken by the Institute of Modern Physics,the Chinese Academy of Sciences,uses more than twenty HWR superconducting cavities to speed up particle beam.In order to more accurately and conveniently test the acceleration gradient and figure of merit of these superconducting cavities than it was before,it is necessary to design a complete superconducting cryogenic vertical testing control system.The testing system is mainly composed of a vertical measurement dewar,a liquid helium supply system,liquid nitrogen supply system,nitrogen recovery system,a helium gas recovery and purification system,a controllable butterfly valve,relevant supporting pipelines and valves.The testing system uses Siemens S1500 series PLC and serial port server as the hardware core,and the control network adopts a hierarchical topology.The IOC design of the control system states the EPICS low-level drive solutions of SIEMENS PLC and paperless recorder and other devices.In addition,the communication drive module StreamDevice based on the data stream device is used to complete the EPICS low-level communication modules such as the level sensor and vacuum gauge compilation.The automatic vertical measurement process mainly uses the Sequencer application in EPICS to write the sequencer control program to complete the sequencer control logic for the on-site valves and pumps.In the aspect of upper application interface,the interface design of the 2K cryogenic measurement system is completed by CSS software.The Archiver Appliance,a data archiving tool,uses a multi-level storage method to significantly improve data indexing efficiency.Taking consideration of the field application scenario,a set of electronic log system based on dynamic web applications is developed through Apache + Mysql + Php.The system enables staff to get rid of the traditional written form of the log,and provides an open and transparent log platform for communication.Our research group specifically aims at the automatic operation requirements of the 2K low-temperature vertical measurement control system.It adopts the EPICS distributed software architecture to complete the automatic replacement,cooling,operation,and temperature return process of the 2K low-temperature vertical measurement control system.At the same time,the real-time monitoring of various parameters and the status of key equipment of the vertical testing system were implemented,as well as studying and deploying a new data archiving system.The 2K low-temperature vertical measurement control platform and related collaborative design software tools have been installed and debugged on field,and been deployed online.The testing system satisfies the design requirements and the current needs of vertical measurement operation which significantly improves the level of automation and informationization of the vertical measurement process.
