The Strategic Pioneer Science and Technology Project of "Future Advanced Nuclear Fission Energy" initiated by the Chinese Academy of Sciences is devoted to the development of Thorium-based molten salt reactor nuclear energy system.The system is still in the stage of research and development,so data generated by the system can not be discarded at will.he historical data archiving system is used to store,retrieve and export process variables which is a powerful tool for long-term storage of control system data and drawing historical data trend line.It is conducive to further research and development of nuclear energy system.As the stored variables increase with the storage time,the cumulative amount calculated according to the bytes occupied by relational databases has approached the level of TB.At present,the query performance of RDB Channel Archiver,an archiving system based on relational databases,has reached the bottleneck state on this level.Therefore,a storage system that can display the performance on the number of PVs of thousands of levels is needed.In this paper,the development of data archiving system in various scientific devices is studied and analyzed.Firstly,this paper studies the performance of relational database,optimizes the database tables using the strategy of setting up,according to time by trigger,But the performance of the optimized archiving system still needs to be improved.Therefore,a new generation of Archiver Appliance system based on nonrelational database is deeply studied in structure and mechanism.Archiver Appliance has faster retrieval performance,rich system status viewing interface and intuitive icon viewing function compared with RDB Channel Archiver.It can fully meet the data archiving requirements of Thorium-based molten salt heap.After a thorough study of its structure,the factors to improve its query rate are analyzed and tested.At the same time,a real-time monitoring tool is developed for the functional defects of the system,and the concurrency performance test and query performance test of the page are carried out.The performance of the system is better than that of RDB Channel Archiver when the amount of data returned is more than 1000.At present,it has been running steadily in SF0 instrument control project.
