As an important infrastructure for the development of an information society,the data center provides important support for China's economic transformation and upgrading.With the rapid development of information technology,the scale of data centers continues to increase,and it also brings huge energy consumption.As energy saving and emission reduction is one of the basic national policies for sustainable development in China,reducing the energy consumption of data centers has become an inevitable trend of data center development.At present,the research on data center energy consumption has been relatively rich,especially in IT equipment,air conditioning systems,power systems,etc.,but there is a lot of research on the data center energy consumption from the planning and design of the building itself.This article first analyzes the characteristics of the data center to find out the existing problems of energy saving in the data center.Analyze the characteristics of data center energy consumption and summarize the factors that affect data center energy consumption.Secondly,through the selection of the building energy simulation software,the Energy Plus-based simulation software is determined,and the model and boundary conditions are established based on specific cases.From the perspective of building ontology planning and design,the factors that affect data center energy consumption are selected,and their influences on data center energy consumption are simulated using variables such as geographic location,functional space layout,heat transfer coefficient of envelope structure,and airflow organization.The results show that:the higher the geographic latitude,the lower the energy consumption of the data center,the more contact between the computer room and the outer envelope,the lower the energy consumption,The energy consumption of the envelope heat transfer coefficient K in Xi'an area is 3.0(W/m2·K)with the lowest energy consumption,the higher the coefficient of hot air recycling The lower the energy consumption,the lower the indoor temperature of the data center in Xi'an is 28?Finally,according to the simulation results of the factors that affect the ener gy consumption of the data center,the energy-saving design of the data center i n Xi'an is made from two aspects of planning and design,and corresponding en ergy-saving design strategies are proposed.The planning and design mainly inclu de three aspects: geographical location selection,natural ventilation,and avoiding sunlight;the single design mainly includes four aspects: functional space layout,heat transfer coefficient of the envelope structure,and air conditioning and air co nditioning spotlight temperature.Provide theoretical support for the energy-saving design of data centers in Xi'an to promote the research and development of ener gy-saving design of data centers.
