The curbside bus stop has been the place where the traffic order is chaotic in the middle of urban road.Some space of bicycle lane will be occupied when a bus draw up at a stop,and the bus may also disrupt passing bicycle during it accessing and leaving the stop due to change between the bicycle lane and motor lane for two times.Bicycle acquires less protection compare to other transportation,however,bicycle holds an important part in green transportation which is more and more spread.Hence,it is necessary to make researches on bicycle in specific traffic scenarios.This paper will study on deeds and characteristics of bicycles,psychical and decision-making process of cyclists during riding through the bus stop district,which is conducive for enhancing the ride safety,improving the mixed traffic order and also optimizing the design of traffic facilities.Firstly,the range of a bus stop district,the meaning of passing modes are defined by summarizing of the investigation to a typical curbside bus stop.According to the trajectory and microscopic behavior of bicycles passing through the bus stop disrict,so the cyclists are dived into three types,the hazardous,the indifferent and the conservative.And then,giving the description of riding behavior and decision of different types of cyclist in each phases while the bus drawing up at stop.The following work will be on the basis of bus operation at a stop,as bus keep stationary and low speed,and study on the passing bicycle which are seriously influenced and disturbed.It seems difficult to choose whether still ride along the bicycle lane or change into the motor-lane for a while when there is a bus stop at station.So that to build a model for exploring influence factors in cyclist decision-making process.Once cyclist are in the motor-lane,they may afraid that the parking bus could start.So that to discuss the relationship between the velocity and probability for cyclist to avoid conflict with leaving bus.It also worth to define the type and degree of how the bicycle influence the car flow as they changing into their lane.When cyclist happened to meet a bus is accessing or leaving the stop,they could rush in seconds to surpass the bus in advance so that to avoid conflict and delay for seconds,or decelerate directly to prevent from risks.By analyzing how the riding process,obtain three main reasons impact on cyclists' deeds and decision,ordering them as input items.Make cyclists' decisions,rush or decelerate,as output item as well,and then the cyclists' decision model will be built by using fuzzy inference.In order to enrich the research of bicycle microscopic traffic behavior,optimize the design of curbside bus stop and further advancing the road traffic capacity.
