With the continuous improvement of the level of motor vehicles,the contradiction between supply and demand of road networks has intensified,and the problems such as traffic congestion,energy shortage and climate change have become increasingly serious.As a low-carbon transportation development concept based on the concept of low-carbon transportation,which guides citizens to low-carbon travel and ease traffic congestion,it is very necessary to optimize the urban road network.Starting from the low-carbon transportation concept,this paper takes the urban road network optimization method as the research content,and studies through the combination of literature research method,interdisciplinary special research method,traffic investigation and statistical analysis method,inductive deduction and comprehensive analysis method.Under the guidance of sustainable transportation development,through the analysis of the influencing factors of low-carbon transportation and the correlation between low-carbon transportation and urban road network,the implementation path and method of urban road network optimization based on the concept of low-carbon transportation development are discussed.In this paper,the road network structure optimization model based on the environmental carbon capacity and the road network carrying capacity is constructed,and the ventilation corridor,the smooth four-sided access branch system,the low-emission mode travel route and the road are proposed.Publicization reduces the urban road network optimization ideas and technical methods to reduce carbon emissions in four aspects of bypass distance,and practice in the road network optimization of Jiangbei area in Nanning.Through the research of this paper,we strive to draw lessons from the application of low-carbon transportation concepts in urban road network optimization and other planning and engineering projects.
