The Spatial Morphology And Cultural Analysis Of Public Space In Anhui And Jiangxi Provinces

Public space shows the living state and regional culture of different regions,which is closely related to human life.As the integration of traditional social villages and modern management system,towns and townships have their unique social structure,management system,regional culture and traditional customs.There are various types and forms of public space in towns and townships,which reflect the humanistic culture,ideology,value pursuit,artistic aesthetics,life style and traditional customs of towns and townships.It is of high research value and can also provide valuable experience and ideas for the construction of contemporary public space in towns and townships and even urban public space.The two provinces of Anhui and Jiangxi have certain similarities in topographical features,climatic environment,historical background,etc.As the most important cradles of traditional Hui culture and Luling culture,southern Anhui and central Jiangxi are more representative in the cultural research of the two provinces.Through the research and comparison of the spatial morphology and culture of the public space in the towns and townships of southern Anhui and central Jiangxi,combining with the knowledge of anthropology,sociology and culturology,the connotation and essence of the traditional ideology and culture of Anhui and Jiangxi are deeply explored.In this paper,the author selected some typical towns and townships in southern Anhui and central Jiangxi as research objects,and took the field survey,surveying and mapping,visiting and the review and analysis of a large number of relevant books and literature as the research basis of this paper.Firstly,the definition and classification of town-and-township,town-and-township public space and spatial morphology are expounded,and the research object and scope are defined.Then the spatial morphology of public space in the towns and townships of Anhui and Jiangxi is analyzed and compared at three levels: material system,structure system anddecoration system.Then,taking ancestral halls and academies,two public buildings in towns and townships with the characteristics of clan society and ritual culture,as representatives,this paper analyzes their spatial morphology characteristics and excavates the deep humanistic culture.From this,we get the enlightenment on the relationship between "people","architecture" and "nature",and put forward the design strategy of contemporary public space in the towns and townships of Anhui and Jiangxi from the perspective of culture.
