After the reform and opening up,there is a big gap between Chinese enterprises and foreign enterprises.However,as the customers’demand increasing,the competitive pressure of industry is also growing.In order to survive,enterprises need to reduce manufacturing costs on the premise of ensuring product quality,and also need to shorten production cycle to quickly respond to customer needs.In a highly competitive environment,enterprises can enhance their competitiveness by improving their own management.Therefore,the implementation of lean production system（also TOYOTA production system）is an important way to enhance competitiveness.As Jeffrey K Liker^[1]describes in the《The Toyota Way》about lean houses,lean production system can stabilize product quality,increase production efficiency and shorten production cycle,lower production costs,higher safety level and higher employee morale,and these are the goals that enterprises are pursuing now?This is based on the concept and philosophy of lean production to eliminate waste and improve production efficiency as the starting point.First,using tools such as fishbone diagram,Pareto and FMEA to find out the factors that affect the production cycle:low efficiency of motions,high difference of Takt time and too much personnel movement.To solve these problems,we need to use the method of action analysis and time study.We need to do difference analysis and consistency analysis for two operators and two video analysis employees to confirm the impact of operators and video analysts on the results of action analysis and time research.Then according to the action time of two operators,calculate the average value and analyze the time data of time study.According to the method of action value classification,find out the improvement plan,put forward the improvement goal,make the improvement plan,implement according to the improvement plan,and finally confirm the improvement effect.By optimizing the production cycle of the company’s western kitchen products,this thesis solves some long-term problems in the production process,which can be used for reference for enterprises in the industry.At the same time,it also discusses the feasibility of lean production theory application in kitchenware manufacturing industry in China.
