Reconstruction Design Of Rural Architecture Under The Background Of Rural Revitailization

Currently,the imbalance between urban and rural areas exists in the process of China's development and inadequate rural development has become a prominent problem.Since rural areas suffer from stagnant development,limited conditions,and lack of understanding by villagers,the architecture of traditional villages has been destroyed to varying extent.Moreover,with the development of globalization and constant penetration of the western culture,a lot of villages have started to blindly follow the trend of abandoning traditional architecture and building western-style houses,and formed the modern style of “the same appearance for 1,000 villages”.To build and reconstruct villages and truly develop the humanistic style of villages,on October 18,2017,General Secretary Xi Jinping has proposed the “rural revitalization” strategy in the report of the 19 th CPC National Congress.The strategy takes the building of rural areas with thriving businesses,pleasant living environments,social etiquette and civility,effective governance,and prosperity as the principles.Through the building in various aspects such as economy,culture,politics,and society in rural areas,we can build backward rural areas into beautiful villages with “beautiful environments,perfect facilities,prosperous economy,and harmonious civilization”.As far as traditional rural architecture is concerned,it is an indispensable part of rural architecture reconstruction to enrich its functional space,integrate modern technology,retain traditional elements,and extend village traditions.How to present traditional elements in the reconstruction and design of architecture and integrate them with the adjacent environment and modern lifestyle is the major research direction of this thesis.Under the background of “rural revitalization”,this thesis takes Hutang Village,Buyunqiao Town,Qidong County as the design researchobject.Through sorting out the development evolution of village reconstruction and design practice research,in combination with the analysis of excellent domestic and overseas rural reconstruction cases and field survey and investigations,this thesis takes architecture and landscape as the basis,and sorts out the research methods,philosophy and technology appropriate for this case.Moreover,the thesis proposes three sets of sketch design proposals,offers comparison and analysis of the merits and defects of the proposal,and determines the final design of the project.Finally,through the practice and summary of this project,this thesis provides referable design methods,practice means,and reconstruction examples for village reconstruction in areas similar to Southern hunan.
