Plane steel gates are simple to manufacture and can be manufactured and shipped to the destination for assembly in batches when leaving the factory.Therefore,It is convenient to widely use flat steel gates,The massive-scale use of plane steel gates is very important for the safe operation of these gates in water conservancy projects.In order to overcome the influence of suction and sedimentation of the water flow on the main beam web when the flat beam gate is opened or closed.and also in order to reduce the dead weight of the gate,there is always a drainage hole in the main beam web.The drainage holes have a significant impact on the overall safety performance of the gate because they directly affect the reduction of the area of the main beam web.In order to keep the drainage hole from causing the decrease in overall strength of the gate,a reinforcement ring is set on the drainage hole.Fillet welding or bevel welding can be used for the bottom beam of the gate and the reinforcement ring on the drainage hole.Different way of installation have different effects on the overall strength,stiffness,and even stability of the gate.Studying its different installation modes plays an extremely important role in the stable operation of the gate.This article takes the deep-water plane steel gate in a hydropower station as an example,establishing a three-dimensional finite element model by using UG-NX,meshing it by using Hypermesh,and finally importing it into the finite element software ABAQUS.The calculation is based on 71-meter-deep water head and 93-meter-deep design head respectively,then having static analysis,linear buckling analysis,non-linear buckling analysis on gates under the condition of four different working conditions including the main beam web drainage hole Strengthening ring and bottom beam groove welding,the main beam web drainage hole reinforcement ring,bottom beam fillet welding,main beam web drainage hole reinforcement ring fillet welding.During the operation of the gate,the air hole of the gate panel cause jet flow,which affects the gate panel.Therefore,the gate is then subjected to dynamic analysis and dynamic buckling analysis to discuss the safety performance of the gate under different working conditions.In this paper,the following conclusions are obtained through calculation: the reinforcement ring of the web drainage hole of the main beam of the deep water plane steel gate must be groove welded,and the fillet welding will obviously reduce the overall strength and stability of the gate.The fillet welding and bevel welding of the bottom beam have little effect on it.For the models in actual engineering,it is necessary to introduce initial defects by nonlinear buckling analysis.
