With the rapid development of artificial intelligence,3D model processing and the cost reduction of graphics hardware devices,3D model rendering technology has brought great impact to the traditional field.The accompanying Virtual Reality technology renders the 3D model on the screen and performs virtual simulation to realistically present the actual object.Mainly used in housing construction,bridge design,medical visual processing,and is favored by a large number of users.At the same time,with the increasing demand for home improvement systems,the traditional home improvement system has problems such as lack of realistic simulation,lack of real-time performance,incomplete household drawing,unfriendly human-computer interaction,and long development cycle.Therefore,this thesis will design and implement a virtual reality home improvement system based on virtual reality technology.Based on the Unity3 D engine,the revit software can be used to model the furniture in the apartment,combined with the C# scripting language to realize the apartment design and apartment decoration.Machine interaction and other operations.Specific work includes the following:1)The virtual design of the apartment.The virtual design of the unit mainly includes: the drawing of the wall,the wall is divided into a plane wall and a curved wall;the connection between the different walls is divided into an inline connection and a diplomatic connection;the room is formed by finding a closed polygon.2)Virtual decoration of the apartment type.The virtual decoration of the apartment type is based on the design of the apartment,the decoration of the wall,the floor and the ceiling,the decoration of the wall includes the texture mapping of the embedded door and window and the wallpaper,and the decoration of the floor adopts the ear cutting method to process the simple polygonal triangle to the floor.The simple polygon is divided into multiple triangles to perform texture mapping to form the material effect of the floor,and the ceiling decoration is similar to the floor.3)Soft decoration of the apartment type.After the design and decoration of the apartment is completed,the furniture model is added and placed to construct an ideal apartment.4)3D model simplification.In addition to the shortcomings of static LOD technology adopted by the industry,this paper adopts real-time LOD technology,which simplifies the model of furniture by triangular mesh folding and quadratic error measurement to estimate the error.Compared with the traditional static LOD technology,it saves space storage and improves rendering speed.5)Use HTC Vive devices for human interaction.Let users immerse themselves in the scene to roam,and integrate users and the environment into one.Based on the above research,a virtual reality home improvement system was finally realized.The appearance of the apartment is presented by means of virtual reality,which is highly immersive and practical.
