Under the situation that Chinese government vigorously promotes the development of prefabricated buildings,the design-procurement-construction contracting(EPC)mode has been widely promoted due to integration management.Though construction materials purchase is one of the important tasks of project management,EPC contractor faces problems such as delivery delay,cost overruns and product quality defects which seriously affect the project schedule,cost,quality goals.This study systematically analyzes the risk factors in the procurement management,explores the correlation and mechanism of risk factors,and then puts forward a set of methods and models for material risk assessment of prefabricated construction projects.According to the framework of risk identification,risk analysis and risk evaluation.First,based on the analysis of material procurement mode and process,this study adopts literature analysis method,flow chart method and Delphi method to identify the internal and external risk factors covering procurement preparation phase,procurement implementation phase and post-risk assessment phase.Second,DEMATELmethod is adopted to study the dependence between risk factors from the perspective of dynamic.Through the establishment of risk factor correlation network model,the causal relationships between risk factors are depicted,the mechanism of procurement risk of prefabricated building materials is revealed.Finally,the procurement risk evaluation index system is constructed from dimensions of procurement schedule risk,cost risk,quality risk,procedural risk and environmental risk.Then,the integrated ANP-gray clustering evaluation method was adopted to determine the index weight and evaluation the procurement risk level respectively.The case study is conducted to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the evaluation model.The evaluation of material procurement in prefabricated construction project from the perspective of EPC general contractor is not only conducive to supplier selection,improve prefabricated component quality and procurement efficiency,but also could reduce procurement cost overcome the bottleneck problem of prefabricated building promotion,and successfully realize the transformation and upgrading of China’s construction industry.
