Research On Landscape Design Of Urban Section Of Seasonal Rivers In North China

Urban waterfront is an important ecological,recreational and landscape space in cities.River water resources also have strong attraction for urban residents.However,with the increasing demand for river water resources and the restrictions of climate and soil geology in the river basin,many rivers have changed from normal rivers to seasonal rivers.Riverside landscape design is facing new challenges,including obvious changes in seasonal water level,high flood control pressure in flood season,poor Riverside Landscape in dry season and water pollution.The contradiction is mainly due to the negative influence of riverside landscape on the river hydrological characteristics under the influence of seasonal rivers.Therefore,targeted research is imminent.Shanxi Xiaohe river is a typical seasonal river.Taking the riverside landscape of the Xiaohe river section in Shanxi as an example,this paper analyzes the basic characteristics of seasonal rivers and the riverside landscape of the city,and analyzes the seasonal flood rivers that are faced with flood control and construction,including the urban waterfront space,the difference of water flow in the dry and low water period,the destruction of the seasonal river natural ecosystem and the neglect of the urban residents.The need for hydrophilic activities and other issues.At the same time,we analyzed and summarized the domestic and foreign cases,determined the design objectives and principles that should be achieved in Seasonal River riparian landscapes in northern cities,and put forward relevant design strategies,including ecological flood prevention,river embankment "anti release" combination,rich river bed morphology,maintaining river steady runoff volume,adapting to river hydrology plant community design and diversified utilization of urban waterfront space.。At the same time,it analyzes the specific problems faced in the riverside landscape design of the urban section of the Xiaoxiao River,and puts forward the design strategies for the riverside landscape of the urban section of the Xiaoxiao river.The strategies of ecological flood control design include four measures of ecological flood control design by controlling the relevant factors affecting River discharge;the strategies of river bed runoff maintenance to maintain stable runoff through multi-source recharge and riparian morphology shaping;the strategies of riparian habitat restoration,through native plant cultivation,restoration and transformation of hard revetment,to restore riparian habitat;and the spatial cooperative design strategies with urban areas.Combining city function with river characteristics,five ways of spatial connection of riverfront are put forward to carry out spatial diversification design of floodplain and embankment.In the specific design practice of the riverside landscape of the Xiaoxiao River,the above design strategies are applied in the design process to carry out the overall planning and layout of the riverfront landscape of the Xiaohe river city section.At the specific design level,ecological flood prevention design,river bed planning and design,Riverside habitat restoration design and riverside road system design are adopted to deal with seasonal river’s impact on the riverfront landscape of the urban section of the Xiaoxiao river.It provides a design example for other similar urban riverfront landscape design.
