At present,with the rapid development of China’s economy,all over the country are carrying out large-scale civil engineering construction.Fastener-style steel pipe scaffold has been widely used in engineering construction because of its simple structure,flexible,easy maintenance and universal components.Fastener-style steel tubular scaffold accounts for nearly 70% of the temporary support system in the construction of engineering buildings.Its wide use range and large amount of use result in frequent accidents of construction scaffold safety,however,the current code of safety technology for steel tubular scaffold with couplers in construction in China JGJ130-2011,which deals with the design and calculation of the stability of scaffold Poles,can not provide sufficient reference for practical use,therefore,it is necessary to carry out a systematic experimental study on the design and calculation method of the vertical pole stability of the fastener-style steel tubular scaffold,so as to provide a reliable scientific basis for the revision of the Future Code.The main research work of this paper is as follows:(1)When the stability calculation of the steel tubular scaffold with couplers is carried out,the whole stability of the scaffold is not well understood,which leads to the collapse accidents from time to time,the main reason is that it is not safe to apply the Stability Coefficient of the steel pipe scaffold pole directly to the technical specification for cold-formed thin-walled steel structure,and the determination of the calculated length coefficient directly affects the value,there is no uniform method to determine the value in the current standard of scaffolding.In this paper,the stability design method of fastener-style steel tubular scaffold is compared and analyzed in the current standards of various kinds of scaffold.(2)Through field test and data analysis,the instability mode of fastener-style steel pipe scaffold is found out.In this paper,the semi-rigid joints and the initial bending factors which affect the overall stability of the scaffold are systematically combed and field tests are carried out with the method of theoretical analysis and field tests,the mechanism of fastener-style steel tubular scaffold under normal force is found out,and the design method is verified.(3)Through the analysis and research of the practical reliability data obtained from the field measurement of the project example,it provides the detailed data support for the design and erection of the scaffolding of various similar projects.In order to explain the mechanism of the fastener-style steel pipe scaffold in detail and give the design method of the stability of the vertical pole.The results can be used to supplement and improve the existing safety technical specifications of fastener-style steel pipe scaffold for construction in order to reduce the occurrence of safety accidents.
