The Guangzhou PZB1401project is planned to be built as a super five-star hotel. Inorder to highlight the innovative and special architecture effect, project used spatialstructure of large span and large storey, with stretching and torsion as floor changes, whichis powerful and gracious. The complex architectural configuration proposed higherrequirements for scaffold building in structural construction. When using fastener scaffoldas an external protection or tall outer inclined column formwork supporting, thespecification calculation method and common modular computing software are difficult tocomplete the design alternative, which became difficulty of scaffold design. Throughspecific application analysis of fastener steel pipe scaffold in the project, taking fastenersteel pipe scaffold as research object, and using finite element analysis software (MidasGen), this paper focus on the following aspects of the problems, which have made betterresults:(1) To solve the calculation problem of building height and bearing capacity in thecondition that vertical distance of fasteners to wall in two-wall external protection scaffoldexceeds the specification allow, this paper established overall three-dimensionalcalculation model of two-wall scaffold on right angle fastener which is semi-rigidconnected, then simulated the initial defect by virtualizing horizontal force, and calculatednon-linear buckling strength, pointed the yardstick of yield failure on defective scaffold, atlast validated the rationality of the calculation model by existing experimental results;(2) Utilized the lateral displacement resistance capacity of full hall scaffold in supportsystem design of tall outer inclined column formwork, this paper established overallthree-dimensional calculation model of two-wall scaffold on right angle fastener which issemi-rigid connected, calculated and analyzed the lateral displacement under thehorizontal force, then used existing experimental results to validate the rationality of thecalculation model; quantitatively analyzed the influence on scaffold lateral bearing capacity by scaffold construction measures using finite element analysis software, andproposed optimized support system design alternative;(3) Introduced the design and application of high cantilever platform building byfastener steel pipe scaffold, this paper used finite element software to establish calculationmode which ensure that the calculation results are relatively accurate, and the designalternative is economical and reasonable.This paper perfected the defect simulation method of nonlinear analysis aboutscaffold bar, simplified the judge criteria for bar damage, then using finite elementsoftware to calculate scaffold single bar length coefficient which considers the overallstabilizing factor, and raised design method by using oblique bar to improve the lateraldisplacement resistance capacity of full hall scaffold. All these methods and practicalapplication of innovation solved several problems when fastener steel pipe scaffold areused in complex structure construction. This paper came to a series of useful conclusionswhich expand specification application of scaffold and as a reference of follow-up studyand application.
