Today,the public concern about the performance of the car,there are two main points: environmental protection and safety.In terms of bus,its security is the focus of the most concerned,the maximum avoidance or mitigation of casualties has become an important topic in the study of automotive safety.The European and the United States set series of safety and environmental regulations for coaches,which have been improved upon and perfected continuously,and improve the performance of bus,the domestic C-NCAP is gradually towards standardization,many regulatory standards are being perfected gradually.On this topic,the study of bus rollover safety,the whole research process includes the computer simulation and real vehicle test,following the latest regulatory requirements,《Requirements of Strength for the Superstructure of Bus 》(GB 17578-2013),the simulation and experiment research of multi-layer sheet metal structure of bus rollover was carried out through the combination of theory and experiment,the body structure of the forward design and improvement was carried out in the process of structural safety verification,and ultimately make the actual test through the superstructure safety test,the main research content and methods are as follows.(1)This paper analyzes and summarizes the relevant research and development of the safety of domestic and foreign passenger cars,summarizes the new laws and regulations,and compares the new and old regulations,and points out that the mandatory implementation of the new regulations puts forward harsh requirements for the design of the multi-layers welding stamping parts.(2)Made in-depth introductions about experiment and theoretical aim at bus rollover crash,the involved contact and mechanical problems in the bus rollover process was analyzed emphatically due to the complexity of the multi-layer sheet metal structure of bus modeling,the method and the difficulty was concluded.(3)In the process of simulation modeling,the parameter settings and significance of simulation technology was mainly elaborated,which theory and method was innovation and breakthrough,the validity of the whole rollover simulation was carried out,and demonstrated the insufficient of the half rollover simulation,at the same time the Deform2 Rigid was adopted as the key technology in the whole process calculation.(4)Combination of computer simulation and real vehicle test,in the course of the whole forward design and improvement,the paper analyzes the bus structure step by step,puts forward the corresponding design scheme and improvement method,and makes reasonable and reliable verification.The subject has carried on the thorough research on the safety simulation and the body structure design of the bus rollover,several characteristics can be found by querying the literature,first of all,most of the research is only the simulation calculation of the original or initial improvement model,the results of the evaluation method is still inadequate or even wrong,and no analysis and verification of real vehicle experiment.Second,the method of many units generally used is still half calculation,the reference to the law is mainly ECE R66 and the old version GB / T17578-1998;Finally,the study of the bus body structure is mostly shaped pipes,Multi-layer sheet metal structure is more complex,less research.So,under the background of the current study,the research of security of bus rollover,which design method,analysis specification,etc.,all need to be updated,especially large enterprise,in order to make a breakthrough in the industry,to meet the social requirements and the demand of the market.
