At present,cement stabilized macadam is almost used as semi-rigid base material in highway construction.However,in the process of cement production,there are many emissions,large energy consumption and great air pollution.For the needs of ecological protection,quarrying is strictly limited,and the main production raw material calcium carbonate is more difficult to obtain.Therefore,with the increasing environmental pressure in China,the research demand of alternative curing agent is increasing.Therefore,a new type of environmental friendly cementitious material,reinforced curing agent,has been studied in this paper.First of all,the material properties of the reinforced curing agent are studied,and the relevant indexes are compared with the common 42.5 grade Portland cement;then,the control range of the aggregate mud content is studied,and the reasonable application range of the mud content is determined.Based on the supporting engineering,the mix proportion design of 42.5 grade Portland cement and reinforced curing agent stabilized macadam was carried out.Secondly,from the mechanical properties,dry shrinkage performance and durability three aspects,the road performance of the reinforced curing agent stabilized macadam mixture was studied;finally,the feasibility of the reinforced curing agent stabilized macadam base was verified through the trial paving of the test section.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)under the condition of the same amount of admixture,the strength of the soil solidified by the enhanced hardener is 7.5% ~ 10.6% higher than that of the cement in 7 days,3.8% ~ 13.1% higher in 28 days,and the silt content of the aggregate is controlled in the range of 5% ~ 15%.The performance of high strength and low shrinkage of the aggregate stabilized by the enhanced hardener is shown;(2)the grading standard of the aggregate stabilized by the enhanced hardener is proposed.Through compaction test and unconfined compression test,it is determined that the construction mix ratio used in the test section of the supporting project is 1#:2#:3#:4#: curing agent = 6%: 25%: 34%: 35%: 4.8%,and the best water content is 6%.(4)under the condition of the same dosage and the same age,the resilient modulus of the reinforced hardener stabilized macadam mixture is smaller than that of the cement stabilized macadam.From the perspective of the anti cracking performance,it is considered that the anti cracking performance of the reinforced hardener material is better than that of the cement on the premise of meeting the strength requirements;(5)after the completion of the field test section,the test results of compactness,EDTA titration and strength meet the design requirements.Specification requirements,indicating that the rolling process meets the construction requirements.In the later stage,the core sample was drilled and sampled,the surface of the core sample was complete,the strength was good,and there was no visible crack,which verified the practicability of the reinforced curing agent to stabilize the macadam base.
