Highway maintenance management is existence-and-development together with the road. Strengthen management of highway maintenance is the eternal theme of transportation industry, and is the basic requirement of spanning development of transport transformation, and is the need to improve public service reality, and is an important measure to promote the harmonious development. The purpose of Highway construction is to pass, and the purpose of conservation is to smooth. Pavement maintenance management system provides an analysis tool and the scientific method for pavement management department of our country, and also put forward the scientific management and decision for pavement maintenance. Among them the evaluation and prediction of pavement performance is an important part of the pavement maintenance management system. They are the based to study the changes of pavement condition and performance, to make reasonable countermeasures, to formulate corresponding maintenance and rebuilding measures. In this paper, performance of asphalt pavement of high grade highway is the main research object.Analyzed the main diseases and detection method of asphalt pavement. Add up part of the high-speed highway and primary and secondary road in Shandong province. Provided data to improve the performance of the individual index of pavement and establish the comprehensive evaluation model.In the aspect of pavement performance evaluation index, analyzed the deficiency in each single index of the "Highway Performance Assessment Standards" (JTG H20-2007).Builded the evaluation standards of damage rate (DR), rutting depth (RD) and international roughness index (IRI). Improved the pavement condition index (PCI), pavement rutting index (RDI), riding quality index (RQI), and fixed the skid resistance index (RQI) and pavement structure strength index (PSSI) on the pavement.In the aspect of pavement performance comprehensive evaluation method, established the evaluation of pavement performance based on the gray theory model, in order to solve the problem of fuzzy complex index of pavement of pavement performance evaluation. But the right function determination, evaluation index and grey clustering coefficient is still used to range of each index of experience, there are also some subjective experience. In order to avoid the influence of subjective factors in the evaluation process, established the performance evaluation model based on the BP neural network, and the feasibility of the method is verified with examples, but this method still exists lack of precision, slow convergence and easy to fall into local optimal solution and other defects. In the light of complementary characteristics of advantages and disadvantages of Genetic algorithm and neural network, established the evaluation of pavement performance, based on genetic neural network model, and proves the feasibility of neural network optimized by genetic algorithm and the effectiveness of the genetic neural network model combined with the example.In the aspect of prediction of pavement performance, according to the characteristics of improved the pavement performance obviously after maintenance, established the PQI performance prediction models without taking maintenance measures and PQI performance prediction model with taking maintenance measures, proved that the prediction accuracy of two model are higher.Combined with the division standard of pavement performance evaluation index, put forward the asphalt pavement maintenance standard and grade highway asphalt pavement preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance countermeasures based on the pavement disease types and the testing method.This research project is funded by the Shandong province traffic science and technology innovation project (Study on the Deviation Analysis and Countermeasure of Maintenance Technical Indicators of High Grade Highway Asphalt Pavement,201101).
