With the development of social economy and the continuous improvement of culture and science and technology,the material living standard of Chinese people is also on the rise,and people have put forward new requirements for the quality of life.Residential area,as an important carrier of urban residents' life,has a decisive impact on people's life,and its environment directly affects people's quality of life.As an important part of residential area,residential landscape plays an irreplaceable role in the construction of the overall environment.Some old residential areas have been built for many years and their landscape environment cannot adapt to the current level of urban development.In order to adapt to the growing needs of the residents,the landscape of the old community is replanned and designed to improve the environmental quality of the community and improve the living standard of the residents.West second street community is located in baotou city,Inner Mongolia,east river district west channel bank,built in 2004,a total of 1611 households.The community was built at the beginning of this century,the landscape environment has many problems,has not been able to meet the requirements of residents to the outdoor environment.This project starts from the needs of the community residents,combines the current conditions of the community,and carries out renovation planning and design according to the existing problems of the community,so as to better meet the different needs of residents in terms of rest,social contact and sports,create a comfortable outdoor landscape and improve the quality of the residential environment.
