| As one of the indispensable infrastructures in urban arterial systems,traffic signs provide drivers with necessary guidance information to help drivers reach their destinations quickly;traffic signs also prompt drivers to a certain extent to drive safely.Although the status of traffic signs is indispensable,it has not received enough attention.In actual life,many drivers miss some important road traffic information due to the problem of traffic sign setting and the driver’s own problems.For urban road safety It also caused some potential hidden dangers.This paper analyzes the problems existing in urban arterials,explores the indicators of redundant setting of traffic signs from the driver’s own characteristics and road characteristics,and analyzes the methods and methods of redundant setting of traffic signs to provide a scientific Suggest.According to the characteristics of the urban arterial signs in the process of layout,combined with the driver’s own characteristics and road characteristics,the reasons for the failure of the traffic signs are analyzed,and the redundant setting indicators are classified.Combined with the driver’s visual recognition process,considering the three forms of roadside single-post signs,gantry signs.and cantilever signs,a redundant setting model of roadside single-post signs was established.I set up the model.According to the similarities and differences of roadside single-post signs,gantry signs,and cantilevered signs,the roadside single-post signs and their combined forms,gantry signs,cantilevered signs,and their combinations were designed according to the existing specifications form.According to the driver’s visual recognition process,a test plan was designed.Part of the time data of the driver’s visual recognition process was obtained through the test,and the basic data was analyzed and cleaned.Finally,good quality data was obtained,and the roadside Sign redundancy setting model,gantry sign,cantilever sign redundancy setting model,the parameters of different redundancy setting models are calibrated,and the corresponding redundant setting distance of traffic signs is obtained,and the recommended value is proposed.According to the test results in the redundant setting of traffic signs,combined with the actual situation.the indicators of the redundant setting are determined,the evaluation index system of the redundant setting effect is established,and the rationality of the selection of each indicator is analyzed.By investigating the traffic signs of some urban arterial roads in Harbin,it is found that the number of prohibition signs is the largest,followed by road signs,instruction signs,and warning signs.Some arterial road sections have more traffic signs and some arterial road sections have fewer traffic signs.The redundant setting distance of some signs is too large.The three major power roads(Tongxiang Street-Haping Road)are selected for the redundant setting of signs.After evaluation,the overall effect of the redundant setting of traffic signs is "good",which also shows to a certain extent that the traffic on the necessary positions The redundant setting of signs can help drivers,reduce unnecessary traffic problems,and help improve the level of safe driving and orderly driving on urban arterial roads. |
